I have for a while now been keeping a couple of artificial plants in my malawi tank that look very natural and add to the appearance of the tank. I bought them from an aquarist shop and they were a tenner each. anyway I recently saw some very realistic looking artificial plants in a general store and were only a quarter of the price. So I am thinking of giving them a try. Am I taking a risk do think.

Big risk, they wont grow very well in a malawi tank

Try real onion plants, they worked well in my old malawi tank, grew like crazy in fact.

The silk plants designed for reptiles are what I use now, maidenhead sell them too.
