Has anyone tried these out on Oscar tanks, what benefits do they have on the water and fish and are they really worth using, I have a 30W one but not sure if they do anything for fresh water setups. Any info would appreciated guys thanks. |

If it is set up correctly you will see a significant reduction in water bourne bacteria and pathogens that will significantly reduce the impact of any diease out break.
It will also aid in filtration as UV sterilizers create a small amount of ozone in the water resulting in improved filtration efficiency. |

Thomas, the flow rate is critical, note that Alan said "if it is set up correctly" |
