14-12-2007 08:55 by lisakendrick	Hello everyone Hope you're all well and getting in the Christmas mood! Please can you give me some advice regarding my clown loaches. The fins on my largest clown loach have become very tatty (ragged) and look as though there is a thread hanging out of one of them. I really need to know what treatment I can use safely to help repair their fins. I have anti-fungus and fin rot and all of that stuff at home but am reluctant to use it as I know you have to be very careful with the doses for clown loaches. Is there a treatment specifically for clown loaches which I can use safely for their fins?? Your advice would be much appreciated. Also, I do a 50% water change every week so I don't think it's to do with not changing the water often enough. Thanks for your help
15-12-2007 00:11 by big cats	clown loaches are sensitive to dye based treatment most others are fine ,melafix is ok i think but salt (just a little )should be good too, you may not have to treat it at all just watch closely ,i have an oscar been hammered by a buttie no signs of fungus and is healing by himself
