hi every one,just recived 4 clown loach advertised at 3" came at 4.5" very pleased,just need to no of any special care,i will be doing my regular water changes but what treatments should i buy incase they get whitspot etc,my lfs'will sell me anything thanks |

clown loach are very sensitive to treatments! the only thing ive found that works 100% is "jungle ich guard" i got it from keitht on here, but dont think he sells it anymore might be worth asking where he got it from? |

if they are healthy and you do your regular waterchanges you shouldnt have a problem |

like some catfish clowns are naked(poor guys)so dye based treatments soak straight into their skin and into the bloodstream so no dye based stuff meth blue or mal green etc (most treatments contain one or the other) jungles ich guard works if you cant get any here then send to the states for some, raising temps often helps to avoid whitespot as white spot is the only real problem a uv filter may be handy as i believe the uv kills the free swimming stage.they are just as hardy as any other fish so no panics |
