hi everyone i have a pair of j.ds and at the moment they are in my spare tank till we move then they are going in my 5ft tank that is now spare after i have sold all my malawi's
would like 2 know how 2 set up a tank for them so they are happy the male is 7 or 8 ins big and the female is abt 5ins wot decor to use and how to get the most out =of them to be happy and to breed can any one help

well pretty sure they like lots of different terrotories to swim around, and like hard water , so ocean rock etc for decoration, use sand as a substrate so they can dig easier if they fancy breedin, use 2 bulbs, a daylight bulb and a moonlight which should be switched on 3 hours before bed so they get used to a dimmer enviroment,and also it looks more natrual, a big filter is not nessercary as there will be only 2 fish in there if im right in that the tank will be for just the pair? |

hiya thx 4 reply i have now sold my j.d's and my jags that i brought to go in my tank jags where in my 4ft tank now them them both just bought a 8ft x 2ft x2ft tank and going keep my jewels cichlids in there with my catfish at the moment they are in a another 4ft tank i have convicts was wondering if i can add them in the same tank or not seeing i have a 8ft x2ft x2ft tank 20 convicts and 6 jewels and 5 catfishes going in tank is this ok or not
