16-01-2008 15:31 by Ray	Hi,I am looking to use a pump to refill my tanks when water changing.The water would need to travel about 9 metres from the RO vats to the tanks and reach a height of 1.5 metres,any suggestions people on pump types and brands.

16-01-2008 19:32 by Phill Austen	there is a Hozelock submersible pump that is often sold cheaply. I think they call it a "waterbutt pump" it takes garden hose fittings and shifts water well, look on ebay, I bought one for fifteen quid!

16-01-2008 21:27 by big cats	look into a big cheap pond pump, as it wont have to run all the time you wont need anything to fancy any good second hand pond or sump pump will do because the head is not that high
