I have a schuran overflow box and it is quite noisy.Gurgling and what i can describe as a sucking noise.Any ideas how to stop this or at least make it a bit more quiet.

some overflow s ues a sponge on the pipe in the outer part of the box this dose help with the noise, but you may need more water flow ???? thats how i solved it on mine , i put in a extra over flow pipe. |

easy to make telboy, 2 plastic food containers , 2 x 32mm plastic/UPVC pipe bends lenght of 32mm pipe, tin of solvent weld, 18" air line and a shut off valve to fit air line .mine has been running 2 years no problems,if power gose water stop,s at the top of the out flow box and and works normal when power is back on . £8 |
