hi seanie, i may have some bad news for you.
we lived in a flat with concret flores that were 18" thick,i asked permision to put a steel RSJ in the wall across an alcove, they came out to have a look, apon arivel he started working it all out then told us that all the tanks had to go ????? because although the flore was 18" it is POT FLORING it has 12" holes running through the lengh of it and is only designed to take 1/4 of a ton and smallest tank that we had had exseeded that even though they were on cabinets.
tanks went , 2 weeks later we were given the option to move, when all the carpets were up we had cracked the floor right across into next door. please be carefull, we were lucky .
as for your stand i have a 8x2x2 on 3" wood posts, with 3" on topthen 18mm MDF on top to spread the weight on then boxed in with 18mm MDF all around, also have a
7 1/2 x2 1/1 x 2 1/2 only 9" of the ground with the sump next to it that is sat on PALLETS with MDF on top then boxed around.
GOOD LUCK
