abt putting jewels & convicts catfishes in a 8ft tank |

hi there am wondering if we can add the following fish in a 8ft x 2ft x2ft tank 20 convicts 5 adults the rest young abt 6 mths old and 6 jewels and 5 catfishes going in tank is this ok or not

gonna have to disagree with you chaps,i have a 6x2x2[ok not 8x2x2]ive done it up 2 types sand + gravel substrate,loadsa big chunks wood,loadsa silk/plastic plants[mainly vivarium plants ie ivy/ficus]big ol pebbles, in it i have calico cons + clown loach...looks a treat even if i say so myself |

hi not got the 8ft tank set up yet still waiting for it 2 be del to me will add pics when i have it set up.when we move all the fish is going in my 5ft tank for now as i have sold 4 tanks and i havent sold my 5ft tank yet

p.s did answer but it appears not to come up .the convicts will pair and fight toooo many convicts in the world dont let them breed they will just ruin the tank then the jewels will take the hump and batter everything in self defence:o |

at the moment the convicts are in a 2.5ft tank 3 pairs and breeding all the time and the babes are in a 2ft tank the 3 breeding pairs jewels all get on well and one pair of breeding BRISTLENOSE with 6 of there babys jewels and BRISTLENOSE are in one tank (4ft) |
