Yo all. my mums mate gave me an aqua one 480 aquatrend, nice tank. But my old dear wants it with plants in like my others. i am curious if the overhead lighting will provide any useful spectrum to the plants at all. it has a blue light (i presume for coral) and a normal looking daylight bulb. any knowledge on this would be great! |

Java fern will even grow in a tank with out lighting so I would give that a go. |
