Electric Yellow Lab Malawi Cichlids LABIDOCHROMIS CAERULEUS £1.50 each. OXFORDSHIRE AREA

Description: FISH LOCATED 1 MILE OFF THE A34/M40 AT BICESTER OXFORDSHIRE.

LABIDOCHROMIS CAERULEUS Electric Yellow Lab Cichlids

1 to 1.5 inches & some 1.5 - 2 inches

Beautiful bright yellow in colour

I am not a breeder. All my fish breed naturally in their own time and way. None of my tanks are set up as breeding tanks. The tanks are solely for the pleasure of the fish and not a money making machine. I have been keeping Malawi Cichlids now for 3 years and just love them, but do not want to be over run with new additions that come along every so often. You can pick the ones you want. Unable to sex at the moment due to their size but can give it ago looking closely at their fins. No promises though.

General Information:

Scientific name: Labidochromis caeruleus
Common name: Yellow Lab, Lemon Yellow, Electric Yellow
Maximum size: Males average about 6", females a bit smaller
Minimum tank size: 90+ litres
Tank decoration: These fish are a rocky habitat fish. They need lots of rocks to provide caves and hiding spaces, the more the better. Sand is the preferred substrate, but gravel can be used. Any plants may get eaten so don't waste money on buying those
Temperature: 78-83F & pH: 7.6-8.6
Water hardness: Hard water is preferred
Diet: These fish are omnivores - maintain a well balanced diet, but avoid too much protein to prevent bloat
Temperment: One of the least aggressive Malawi Mbuna. Beware when keeping this fish with more aggressive tankmates.

Bred in my tank of F1 parents from: African Cichlids, Lake Malawi

1 inch to 1.5 Inch = £1.50 each. These fish sell in aquatic centres from around £5+ each and are not always in the best health

Pick up only as l do not want my perfectly healthy fish stressed out by being thrown about in a couriers van
