Invert safe, prefers marine algae and seaweed. Feeds very well on marine mixes such as brine shrimp, cockle and mussel.
I have kept the Tang in a reef environment for 2 years and he has only bothered one type of yellow xenia, other xenia, polyps and coral are safe as far as I have found.
I have had this fish for 2 years now after inheriting it off a friend. Due to me relocating for work, I can now not keep a marine tank.
This tang is a stunning variety of bright purple with a yellow tail. Full spots over gills and blushing when startled.

VERY healthy and strong, has survived a few whitespot incidences in the reef environment (as all tangs are prone to this disease).
ONLY AN EXPERIENCED KEEPER NEED APPLY!
Tangs can be very aggressive and dangerous owing to their scalpel sharp barb on thier tail. Experience is essential to keep this fish thriving.
The price reflects this adult fish, size and condition aswell as the responsibility of the fishkeeper, you have to be serious about marine life to spend that much and therefore, will treasure it.
