Description:
I'm moving on my adult pair of rotkiels, they're about 3 years old, males getting on for 7/8" (tl) female slightly smaller. Imported from Peru as juveniles, recently started spawning, both fertile, but currently eating the new born fry, certain they'll grow out of it (I'm blaming high traffic past the tank personally)
Both feed well on dried foods, no signs of HITH or stunted growth. Females fins are slightly tatty after the last spawning but nothing out of the ordinary, no treatment required and they're healing perfectly. Male is in pristine condition.
Other then some post spawning aggression, they're relatively peaceful, lived with other cichlids (geos, guinacara, krobia and other heros) as well as small corys and L numbers. Just be aware they aren't plant friendly, hence my selling them (new challenge)
