SOLID OAK CUSTOM MADE 5x2x2 REEF TANK WITH SUMP
This is a complete reef system with full plumbing ready to run*
The tank Volume is approx 500 litres / 110 UK gal and the sump holds a further 100+ litres depending on configuration
FEATURES
Very well made solid design that will last unlike Melamine faced chipboard cabinets.
3 door cabinet with removable doors for easy access to equipment
All 10mm glass with black silicone
Left rear corner weir with removable comb and twin standpipes, one with ball valve to control water level and allow very quite running. Return pipe from sump rises up through weir to two unidirectional outlets with independent flow valves.
Black background with water tight seal
Glass tank braces allow for placement of twin halide and pelmet prevents light spill
Large sump with separate compartments. One standpipe allows tank water to enter the sump and run through a refugium whilst the other remains separate for skimming and / or water treatment. Both standpipes enter separate chambers with TMC filter socks.
This is the current layout however modifications could easily be made. There are covers for the sump to reduce evaporation.
Several access holes at rear for electrics and room within cabinet for other equipment
Separate 100 litre glass top up reservoir.
The tank is less than 12 months old and in excellent condition. It is currently up and running but I am unable to keep it due to work commitments requiring me to relocate. It is a lovely piece of furniture designed and built by Wharf Aquatics. It would suit either a novice reef keeper or expert.
The tank is located in Weston Super Mare and is less than 12 months old. The system is running at the moment as a reef but I will be stripping it soon and it will be thoroughly cleaned before sale. Buyer will have to collect. It will separate into 3 pieces and all will fit through a standard door frame. The pictures really do not do it justice.
Cost over £1600 new, will sell for £875
