Selling a much loved, well looked after Aquarium. Only selling due space issues in a new flat - otherwise would of happily kept!
The Aquarium is an Aqualantis Evasion 120 which current sells for £600 (when the cabinet is included), and there is also another £150 worth of extra's included with it, as I had decided to upgrade the filter and heater elements to ensure a more healthy and easier to maintain tank. That is a saving of over 60% from new! The Aquarium measures W120 x D40 x H125 cm including the cabinet, and the finish is beech with silver trim. The tank itself is 55cm high and has a capacity of around 260L. The seals and glass are all in great condition, and there is only 1 slight scratch from cleaning which isn't noticeable due to the angle required to see it.
The cabinet is 2 door and is perfect for housing an external filter (MUCH better than internal ones!) along with all other supplies you would keep. There is plenty of storage space in it.
The Aquarium has 2 x 30W T8 36" Aquaglow lights complete with shields, all house in the dual opening lid.
The Aquarium then comes with a selection of internal orniments/components (as shown in pics), and all the piping requiring to hook up the filtration system - these are a bit dirty however and are cheap to buy new if you wished to replace. Aside from this there is a Tetra 150W 80cm heater element which can handle tanks twice this size and has keep this tank as perfect temperature until take down...and a Tetratec EX1200 21W external filtration system that is capable of handling 1200L per hour. Once again, this filtration system is far larger than is required for this tank, but it creates a much more stable tank environment, and extends the time between required cleaning. I could literally run this for 10-12 weeks without issue.
The only further point to mention is a couple of stratches along the silver base of the tank (image of 1 attached). These are minimal, and are hardly noticed once you have a buzzing and colourful aquarium with fish and plants. The actual base unit and aquarium itself are still absolutely solid and will last many years to come.
Due to the size, collection is person is required. To help out, I can see about fitting this is my car to meet half way providing the distance is reasonable. I will do my best to help. Cash on collection is absolutely fine, otherwise payment will need to be cleared funds upfront via Paypal or cheque.
