Hello,
The time has come for me to sell my beloved Ocean Displays nano due to having upgraded to an Aquareef 275.
Specs
Tank: Ocean Displays 40cm X 40cm X 45cm. Total volume 72l. Planed edges. Black acrylic back panel. Lid
The tank is in fantastic condition with no scratches, from what i can see, to the glass. There is the odd scratch to the black acrylic panel but these cannot be see once water is in the tank. Its extremely high quality and very heavy for a nano. It has done me proud but unfortunately i have my orders that we are a one tank household.
Stand:
It is a DIY stand that has done exactly what i intended it to do. As you can see from the pictures there is the odd chip to the paint work but i'm sure i still have some paint left to neaten this up.
Equipment:
x1 Eheim 1000 compact return - it is a superb return and only 6 months old. The output can be adjusted.
x1 Bubble magus NAC QQ skimmer - Perfect skimmer for this tank and thanks to this skimmer i'm now a skimmer convert. i previously ran this tank skimmerless for 12 months but after installing this i won't go skimmerless again - i was shocked and surprised at how much gunk this pulled out of the water.
x1 100w interpet heater - does what heaters are supposed to do and in great condition
x1 air pump - it does have a rubber foot missing but always good to have one on hand (saved my stock once or twice during the hot summer months.
x1 Chinese 50w dimmable full spectrum LED - its a superb bit of kit and really powerful. the blue's can be dimmed separately from the whites. I have the hanging kit for it too and i also have a custom made acrylic mounting bracket. As it has a lid i designed this simple bracket so the light could rest on the top of the lid.
x1 sand syphon - in great condition
The only piece of equipment missing for this tank is a powerhead. Because of the actual power of the return you could possible get away without using one if you are keeping a softy or easy LPS tank. Powerheads can be picked up cheap enough. I have ran an mp10 w ES on this without any issues.
Its a great bundle and has been really looked after and i will be sad to see it go.
