Here is my 4ft(L) x 2ft(H) x 20"(W) fully planted and established Rena aquarium on matching stand with twin 4ft tube lights, Rena XP3 external filter (1350 litres/hour), 2x 300w heaters, DIY CO2 system and a 240 litre per hour air pump. The tank has a custom built 3D background with an integrated Sand Waterfall. It has an aquatic compost under gravel substrate which, along with the CO2, makes for fantastic plant growth.
It is currently freshwater tropical and will include a couple of Bristle Noses and a bunch of Cherry Shrimp as they are a pain to catch.
I have spent a lot of money and invested many many hours on this tank but unfortunately, due to an accident at work resulting in a neck injury that requires surgery, I can no longer look after it. It's just too deep for me to work on.
Believe me when I say, I'm genuinely heartbroken as I love what my fiancée and I have created as we built the 3D background and sandfall together.
I'm looking for a similar water volume tank but it can't be any deeper than 18 inches. I would consider 5 or 6 feet long and upto 2 feet wide but no more than 18 inches deep. The tank must include a good quality stand, comparable filtration, appropriate lighting and heating and have a decent air pump.
You will also need to arrange delivery and collection as I am unable to help with lifting.
I don't require plants, gravel, ornaments or fish as we would be making a 3D background and sandfall for it and we will use all new substrate and plants.
I realise this is expensive but you are getting the complete set-up including weeks of work on the background. I would much prefer a swap. No offers as the money needs to buy a replacement.
