Description: Serrasalmus elongatus, otherwise known as the Pike Piranha is not commonly found in the aquarium trade. From Venezuela, Brazil this cousin of the Neon Tetra grows to around 30 centimetres in length, is entirely silver in colour and is the least Piranha-shaped of all the species, however, they do sport the dental work and eating habits that have given the species their infamy.
