Betta Hendra Rarer red form

Description: Wild type betta from Borneo, Indonesia where it is found in peaty tannin stained swamps and pools.
Listed as endangered in the wild due to habitat loss.
Generally these small bettas are a irridescent blue but this line has a red hue over the blue and depending on lighting and the mood of the fish can be blue or red........ these require very soft and low pH water 4.0-5.0 and do best under dim lighting with lots of botanicals. Temp range 24-28'C live foods preferred daphnia, bloodworm, glassworm etc. Size 2-2.5inches Limited numbers available...... £45.00 pair
