Quality marine set up for sale north east england

Description: Sorry all somebody wasted my time when agreeing to purchase my tank. Its now all for sale again minus the fish as somebody has agreed to take them. However, I did forget in the first advertisement a number of things, including a brand new mega T5s that cost me £120 and 3 new marine blues T8s, and corals so this is what I have. Oh and Ive slashed the price to £1100. So all of this cost me close to £3000 and its only about 5 months old, I need a quick sale so for £1100 its a real bargain beleive me.

My original post that has been modified slightly.

Hi all. Due to financial restrictions I am afraid that i have had to give up on this beautiful hobby. I am going to make massive losses on this project we have only just completed. Everything I have purchased is less than 4 months old at the time of writing this.

I am hoping to sell all of this equipment together as I am reluctant to stress any of the animals, and I will not knock the system out of balance by selling important equipment at the wrong times.

The tank is 4ftX2ftX2ft (about 100 gallon) and has a sump contained snugly in the cabinet (about 25 gallon). Everything was built to spec and to fit the equipment purchased. The cabinet is made from solid wood in a beautiful oak veneered finish with matching hood, with 6 coats of lacker to protect it from salt creep. The cabinet has 2 main doors for sump area and one small door for extra electrics. The whole size of the unit measures 5ft 5” high and 4ft 1 ½ across by 2ft 1 ¼ deep.

There are three marine blue tubes fitted with reflectors in the hood and with starters etc. (also a spare starter and reflectors) There are brand new D&D mega twins that are four weeks old or so( phospour mix) There are three 402 powerheads and a maxijet powerhead.

There are 2 hydrometers, 2 heaters, a new digital thermometer, and a new heavy duty magnet for algae glass cleaning that cost us £15.

I also have with this lot a 4 month old Kent marine R/O at 24 gallon a day which cost me £185 in January and it has the easy fitting which I bought separately. I also have nine 5 gallon drums that cost me £6 each and a 10 gallon drum that I use to mix up my salt.

The table below shows you the price I have paid for the each individual item and hopefully what I may recoup. I am keen for a quick sale and aim for a fair price. Im sure you realise though of the expense it has cost me and I am also keen to recoup at least half of the expense.

I stress that I am reluctant to break up the tank and would like to sell it as a whole.

Ive probably missed a load and will remember after this post.

This whole project has cost me at least a grand total of £3188 in only four months, and Im afraid I now cant afford it anymore which is a shame. With the things I have probably forget this may well add up to nearer £3300.

I am looking to recoup about £1600 NOW £1100 back for a quick sale.

Viewing is recommended to truly appreciate this project.

I would be happier if this went to somebody with a little experience although I would be willing to help a newcomer to set this up and give free advice and support.
