  Maintainence Advice for a small pond in Portsmouth

Description: I need advice as I am to old to bale out the pond now I have a Hozelock Bioforce Pump which keeps stopping I get green slime on the sides of the pond do the pond need cleaning because of the sludge that gets accumilated after a year I only have a water lilly so I need more plants I have asked the local fish club and aquarist shop if they knew of anyone in the area to help me but nobody wants to know email me please
