Description:
Clarias walking catfish (sorry about pics, its way too fast for the camera!!), marble coloured approx. 12 inches long.
These are quite rare and if you do manage to find one in an aquatic store it is likely to be in the region of £30 to £35 for this size.
This is a very active fish and will give you hours of entertainment watching it swim around in your tank.
I have had it for 1 and a half years now but want to change my aquarium set up so sadly it has to go, it gets on with most fishes.
I had it in with Malawi cichlids, barbs, Angel fishes and other catfishes and it has been fine with them.
It has a very placid character and loves eating scrapes of food from beneath the gravel like a hoover and will eat anything, currently feeding it on flakes, bloodworms, mussels, cockles basically any frozen fish foods!
It is disease free and healthy and very active, you wont be disappointed!!!
This fish can actually 'walk' by slivering across the room in a snake like fashion, I know, because it got out of my tank when I first bought it and it made its way some distances away from the tank, and across the room so make sure you have a heavy lid or some sort of netting on top of your tank!
I want it to go to a good home and I am hoping it will find one on here.
