______________

A wild apple snail (Pomacea Canaliculata) will be a beautiful and rare addition to your tank, as this is the largest snail you can buy. Wild apple snails grow as large as a bramley apple and will certainly be a great centerpiece for your aquarium. This is not the regular golden apple snail, but the wild version, which is a much more voracious plant eater, and grows way bigger.

While the UK was in the EU, these were banned. After Brexit, they are finally allowed again, so grab one for yourself while the stock lasts! Here is the article confirming this: https://ornamentalfish.org/apple-snails-can-return-to-gb-after-restriction-lifts/

Cana snails breathe air, so every now and then they will climb to the top of the water to pump themselves full of air. This is nothing to be worried about.

The "giant" size snails are ready to lay eggs (which they lay on the fish tanks lid, and the eggs are pink in color!), while the "medium" and "baby" snails are yet to grow, so pick a size that makes you happy - either way they will become huge!

If it important to feed these snails a calcium rich diet (cuttlebone, various snail blocks, spinach, broccoli). They also have a particular taste for... water lettuce which is included in this package! Cana snails love plants and eat them very quickly, so please be aware of this.

The water lettuce plants added to this pack for free will also be a great addition for your tropical or coldwater tanks, to keep the water clean and nitrates low! Well, for as long as the apple snail does not eat them (which won't be for very long).

Cana snails do not "eat fish". They will eat a decaying fish that has passed away, but never someone who is still alive :)

These snails and plants are very beginner-friendly and hardy and do well even in low light environments, in tanks where temperature is a bit off, and can whitstand a lot of other issues. They can be used in tropical tanks and freshwater tanks, but Cana snails grow much much bigger in tropical, warm tanks.

The snail and plants will be sent first class, in a first class small parcel, next day after the order has been placed. Inside the box, the snails and plants will be wrapped in a small plastic "lunch box" to make sure they do not get crushed, nor dry out. The box will also be padded, to prevent any other issues.

Up to 10 snails can be combined into one single postage cost!

If you need a different delivery day/time/type, please let me know.

I have a few of these snails and plants, hence the relatively low price. I hope that you and your fishies will enjoy them!
