This light clamps onto the aquarium via a special bracket, a integral cooling fan is built into the unit, which will extract the heat created by the light.

Design with fan to cool temperature. This bulb appears to the naked eye as crisp ice white, clear actinic blue. The 14000k bulb combines the best characteristic of the 10,000k and 20,000k bulbs and eliminates the need to add supplemental flourecent or compact flourescent actinic blue lighting. Unit being reluctantly sold due to de comission of exsisting marine set up. Has proved excellent in bringing out the best in a busy coral marine tank and have allowed excellent plant growth.
The 14000k bulb in this unit has only had around 100 hours of usage. The halide itself is around 6 months old and is in excellent condition.
