Description:
5ft bow fronted Aqua One tank. 480 litres.
This tank comes with a lovely cabinet with two shelving units either side of the main cupboard which houses the external filter system.
4 x strip lights (two strip lights per unit) These are built into the hood and act as a part of the lid. Only one of these units is functioning (one strip bulb is missing).
All the extras including gravel, lights lid and tank have been cleaned (and dried) with fresh tap water and are ready to re-use immediately with as little fuss as possible.
The sponges for the filter system have plenty of life left in them. The whole system has also been cleaned. One of the catches on the filter lid has broken but not been replaced as it doesn't effect the running of the filter at all.
Extras included in sale:
2 x 300 watt heaters
1 large ikea bag of gravel, enough for the whole tank, at least 2 inches deep.
2 x large pieces of bogwood
2 x small pieces of bogwood
3 x terracotta pots ( I found it difficult to find hidey holes for larger fish, these pots are perfect for this).
1 x large fish net
1 x small fish net
1 x fish hatchery for breeding
1 x funnel
1 x gravel/water syphon - makes cleaning the tank and removing water much easier.
3 x spare aquarium plant pots.
1 x bag of spare filtration stones (to balance the nitrates in the water).
Some lead weights to weigh down the plants.
Bargain price of £300. The retail cost of all the added extras would be in the region of £150 (I was shocked to find out how much gravel costs! I recently bought some new gravel for my smaller tank and it cost more than the tank).
