6ft Reef/Marine/Fish Tank Complete Setup
I have decided to move on from fish keeping. I built the tank as a reef tank and had it running for many years. I decided that I wanted to move over the Cichlids.
A year later I have decided to move on from fish keeping all together.
As you can see from the photos I built this into my Wall so has no stand or hood.
Tank – 72”x24”x18”
Has been drilled with a dual overflow system for a fail safe quite system, also has a 3rd hole the return.
Has been painted black on the sides and back of the tank to help with the color popping.
There is scratch on the front but can not be seen when the tank is full.
Hospital Tank – 15” x 15” x 18”
A small tanks that I used for new fish etc when I first got them, also good for a hospital tank. It is now being used as a breeder tank for the cichlids. There is a drilled hole on the rim to allow it be part of the whole system if needed.
Also have a small LED strip light for the tank.
Sump – 30” x 12” x 17”
3 Sections with 2 baffle sections.
Comes with all pipe work using top end fitting and valves.
Equipment
2 x 300w heaters with digital controller
1 x 20,000Lph return pump (I think it is 20k lph)
1 x Taam Seio M2600 Super Flow Pump
1 x Taam Seio M1500 Super Flow Pump
Auto top up ball valve system
15W UV light
I also have a load of other pumps including EHIME and loads of other general fish keeping equipment. Meds, Nets, pipes, cleaners, test kits, fitting, food etc etc.
Lighting
5ft Arcadia Series 3 Halide Pendant light. 3 x 150W + 2 x T8
I have converted all the halide ballasts to electronic so is about 70% more efficient now. Have also replaced the old T5 tube fittings with T8 HO tubes.
Live Stock
At the moment I have a load of Cichlids that you are welcome to have along with a giant catfish (14”)
50Kg Coral gravel is also available with the setup if wanted.
Please let me know ASAP if you don’t want theses as I will re home them.
All will need to be collected ASAP and a deposit will be needed 25%. I don’t want to have to take it all apart and have someone not turn up.
Tank is very heavy so please bear that in mind when collecting.
Will need collecting the weekend of the 18th July.
