The MD - 01 ozonizer 3 in 1 unit has been used for many years around the world!! We have worked hard with the manufacturer to bring this great unit now to the UK fully UK specified. The MD-01 is the first ozone unit to come with built in air pump and timer, with a massive 300mg/h output for less than the price of a stand alone unit on the market today!!
We have field tested the MD-01 for 12 months on our own reef system and also a well respected retail outlets complete system with amazing results, everyone who has seen it in action rates it so highly for its affordablity and functionality.
As with any ozone use, it is recommended that the unit is used in conjunction with a suitable ORP/mV meter to monitor the aquariums redox potential, this should not exceed 400MV
How does it work?
Set the timer to your size tank according to the instructions
The timer has 3 setting -
30mins = 100L tanks
60mins = 200L tanks
90mins = 300L tanks
The MD-01 will then switch on for the set time and the incorporated air pump will pump the ozone rich air into you tank or reactor/skimmer via the supplied airline and stone
After the set time the timer will switch the unit off and not switch back on for 4 hours
The cycle then repeats.
