Full-Time Sales Assistant
at our Shirley Store

Reporting into the Store Manager, this is a full-time position where you will be responsible for exceeding our customers' expectations by delivering superb service throughout the store and ensuring that you always deliver the very highest standard of customer care.
You’ll exceed our customers’ requirements by:
Welcoming every customer to the store whenever you can and helping to establish their fishkeeping requirements.
Sharing your skills and knowledge with customers to help them provide the best possible care for their livestock, aquarium or pond.
Completing sales correctly and efficiently whilst ensuring that every customer leaves the store fully satisfied.
Maintaining store presentation to the highest possible standard and remerchandising our stock when necessary.
Your main tasks will be to welcome all our customers into store, complete sales on the till and maintain store presentation standards by replenishing and carefully merchandising stock and by ensuring that the store is clean, tidy and safe at all times. You’ll help uphold our ethos of responsible fishkeeping
You’ll take an active part in your own development by building and developing your personal knowledge of the livestock and products we sell in order to share this information with our customers and advise them effectively.
Skills required:
You will have previous experience, or an appreciation, of delivering excellent customer service as well as having a passion for fishkeeping. You'll also have the ability and proven experience of working well within a team and a desire to work and thrive within a fast-paced retail environment.
