i have come to the desision after 11yrs of marine keeping to call it a day
for sale is a complete running 5 ft system in a glass box 5'x2'x2' thats sat on a purpose built unit, cosisting of three doors behind the doors is a 4'x20" x20" sump into three sections return, dsb with thriving calerpa and cheeto, wich is full of pods and monkey shrimps, snails etc etc, then into the feed, this is a fit filtration sump as i kept this from down sizing from my 7ft fit filtration system, the tank and glass is 10mm plate the tank has a couple of faint scratches but doesn't disrupt the view and are that faint they dont even fill with glass bloom ( the faint dusting of algae you get on the glass you wipe of with the magnets ) the tank has approx 50-60 kgs of live rock in it and has many corals two corals you can not even buy anymore, as they have been on the export list for over 5 years now, one of them is huge in size and is on a good lump of rock, there is a huge trackafelia in the tank, 2 x's hammer corals one having over 20 heads and the other arround 15 heads, anyone can just look on ebay and see that these sell as a 1 head frag for over 8 pounds per head, yet this one i have had some 6-7 years and regulally broke heads off and gave them away for penuts , just to keep the coral under control but i will let you look at the images and ask questions from there on, in regards to the tank stock, above the tank there is a triple halide lighting with built in t5 that take 6 bulbs, more than adiquate for punching through 2ft of water,the water motion is created with a tunze streem, and a huge return pump entering thr tank via twin outlet pipes proving a reef clean motion, the tank also comes with a tempriture module that not only gives you a digital reading accurate to 0.1 of a degree but also controls the heaters and coolers for the tank water temp, a must during our summer periods as we dont realy get a stable summer, as you know one days hot the next days like a desert in africa lol,
