This tank has been running for over 8 years, the live rock has matured from a previous tank which had been running for 4 years. The canister filter and internal filter only have live rock in them acting as natural filter media. The tank is well established the side panels and back panel are covered in coraline algae, could be scraped off. The tank has a very natural look to it but could be cleaned sufficiently if that’s what you like, it’s all down to personal preference.
