hi,whats the best thing on the market to repair a butyl liner with a hole in,cannot remove liner from position,thanks |

Can you not patch it with another piece of butyl and silicone sealant? |

hi chris use a piece of your liner and get some gold seal silcone sealer its black and drys under water great stuff can be used for everything we used to sell it in the shop i worked for much better than anything else you can patch with

theres a tar like strip that you use to join butyl to butyl if your doing a very large pond. its very good. make a patch and use the strip to glue it. it needs an iron to melt it and thats a perfect seal. incredibly sticky though so be careful |

also i would be worried about why theres a hole in the liner. sounds like the pond wasnt constructed properly maybe? this could be an on going battle |

hi danny,i have 4 big terrapins in the pond ,its brick built with 2 inch polystyrene slabs lining it ,would most pond shops stock this tape,i think its the male terrapin with his long claws that have punctured it |
