I have my marine tank just as I wanted, with loads of caulerpa to lower the maintenance, some great fish like flame angel, moorish idol, blah blah, and some nice inverts ---- now I have it just as I wanted I fancy a change.
I was thinking about getting into larger american cichlid, plus also seperately getting into breeding bettas (fond memories of younger years).
Anyone else found this - on your peak of building something - to want another challenge? |

I know what you mean, I've spent ages waiting for my brichardi fry to grow and watch the interaction between them and the adults when there is new fry. Soon as I'd got the set up perfect and there was various ages I sold them to breed angels.
I do it with setups to, get it looking really nice, but always do it again to get it perfect and just how I wanted it.
The marine tank looks nice, having said that so do the oscars and the bettas! Good luck with breeding them. |

The male mask lavender HM (half moon) (picture above) has given me over 100 babies, now nearly 3 weeks old and just starting to show colour. I'm trying to breed him again.
The giant bettas arrived from thailand, wow the male is massive, twice the size of standard bettas (pic below) with fins spread over 5" long. I am now trying to breed the double tail yellow female (pic above) with a giant red half moon male.
