Description:
This carbon is the proper stuff, high grade coal base granular activated carbon, not to be confused with the cheaper and less efficient wood or coconut base activated carbon.
It is the same sort of carbon that Fluval, Eheim,Kent etc use, but it does not come in a nice box or tub ( someone has to pay for that nice shiny box or tub that you throw in the bin, YOU !! )
I have seen activated carbon advertised at £20.99 per kg made by ATI, without P+P !!!!!
The photo shows how much you get for 900 grams ( the 1 Kg of sugar is NOT included !!, just as a guide )
A customer has tested it for phosphates, and said that after a few days there was a small amount detectable, but he still bought some.
