The active ingredient in FLUKE-SOLVE is praziquantel which has been used in a range of fish species for the control of a variety of fish parasites since the early 1990's, with specific studies for cestode (tapeworm) infestations as well as ectoparasites such as monogean trematodes, or flukes.
The special formula of FLUKE-SOLVE™ allows you to just simply tip the sachet into some tank water, stir, and then pour into the tank. Treatment can be repeated in a couple of weeks to make sure all the developing parasites are killed. Extensive trials have shown no toxic effect of Praziquantel on the bio-filters in the aquarium.
