Marine Aquarium
I started to build up a living reef aquarium, but when i had everything ready to go, i simply found just didd't have the time. All of the equipment included in this auction is all almost brand new. The tank and rock is fully been matured and the tank has been running for about a year. This was my pride and joy, and is very upsetting to see this go!!
What will you get?
A rio 125 aquarium and stand. The tank when bought came with the lid with the two original lights, i then changed these two bulbs for a marine white light and Atlantic Blue light (£15 a tube). It also came with an internal filter, the filter consisted of a power head, filter media and also a heater. Over all the tank and extra lights costing me £270.
An Eheim 2234 ecco filter with media. This filter was bought a year ago and has a 3 year guarantee on it. It keeps the tank sparkling clean and is amust for the marine aquarium. This set me back £89.99
Arcadia overtank Luminaire. This is an extra stong light system used for the growth of coral. This light system is needed to keep coral, it has two tubes, a blue one and a white, these bulbs have a very high light output as they are t5 tubes. This is about 2months old!! £270
Extra heater, this is th the heater that is currently in the tank. £17.99
There are two power heads in the tank. The first one is a Eden 214, the head on this rotates, therefore there is great water movement, £28.99. The second is a Maxi-Jet MP-1200, this pump is very powerful and creataes great water movement on the surface!! £25.99
There is a Underworld SeaClone 150 Protein Skimmer included. The pump on the skimmer is broken, put this can easily be replced, as all it is, is a powerhead. The skimmer is very powerful for the size of the tank and removes any waste rapidly!! £140
Live rock there is about 5-6 kilos of Fiji live rock, with great life. his cost me £13.00 a Kilo. Costing me approximately £70!!
The rest of the rock is ocen rock. £50
There al sorts of extras e.g Test kits, hydromiter, chemicals etc costing approx £30
There isn't much livestock as ive only just started to build up my aqarium. The stock included is:
2x black percula clowns costing me £60 for the pair. They are approximately 1.5 inches in length. Never stay out of there beloved anemone.
1 orange percula clown costing £20, approximately 1.5 inches. Also wont stay out of his anemone.
2x Anemone, not quite sure what kind they are, 1 has white tenticles with purple tips, when fully opened it is about 3 inches in diameter, cost me £25 The second is an orange/brown colour about 6 inches in diameter when fully opened, costing me £35, both eating and growing fine. Large anemone sold seperatley sorry!
I also have £18.00 credit for live stock at a shop so the winner can email me and let me know if they want anything.
Overall costing me about £1000, i am looking for £550 ono
