Wanted, non working halide light unit

Description: Anyone got a non working/working halide?
free or cheap.
any size considered as its to be dismantled to trial a new idea that may save us all loads on running costs of traditional halide lighting.

I'm in lincoln but don't mind travelling to collect. (within reason)
