Description:
Brilliant tank, selling my whole set up due to a heater malfunction and I no longer want the heart ache of losing beautiful fish.
This tank was used as a tropical set up and is a few years old. Brand new the stand and tank retail for around £850 to £1000.
It currently still has the textured background attached, in case buyer would like it. Although this has accumulated algae it still looks much better than paper backgrounds etc.
The tank is 4ft wide and further details on this tank can be found by searching online for it including the RRP.
It has a duel lighting system, the lights are about 1 year old so if you intend to grow plants you would need to replace as ideally you need new ones every 6 months. If you are not bothered about plants the lights are still working perfectly and have reflectors.
I'm also including a powerhead for water circulation. This is a Hydor Koralia (I can't remember what model but it ran alongside 2 tetratec ex1200 and was more than sufficient for a malawi set up of this size).
The gravel vac/siphon that I used can also go with it, I've attached garden hose so that I don't have to keep filling up buckets etc, it can go straight out to the back garden which is useful for this size tank.
Original internal filter removed because it's better to run an external. I
No heater included due to it killing my fish... Glass thermometer included though.
I have half a bag of coral sand and some plum slate I can also include if you would like it.
Perfect if this is your first big tank or you need it as a spare.
