The smart controller has storm, moon, cloud , and many programs features, reads temperature and lighting with a fibre optic lens
The cloud mode is great as it dims and brightens giving the actual affect of clouds going over.
The lightning effect is also superb as it dims the unit the randomly burst power to the leds giving a natural lightning effect.
Loads of features on it.
No step up or down in light it ramps up and down not noticeable to the human eye.
