Hi all,
I purchased this off of another reefer in February and have been purchasing bits and planning meticulously over time. The downside to this is that I already have my eyes on a larger aquarium before even using this and am now looking for a 170 instead!
As a result, I am selling the Reefer Nano for £250 which is a good price against the RRP of £525. It was used for 6 months by the previous Reefer and is in very good condition. There are, however, some things to note.
I have fitted an 8 way, individually switched multi plug (with 4 USB slots) inside the cabinet. I've also attached an LED light that is movement sensored and comes on when you open the cabinet.
As you can see from one of the attached photos, the previous Reefer tried to hard plumb the return pipe and has left it in a bit of a mess . He used flexi pipe/jubilee clip over the fitting to successfully plumb his return pump but other options to resolve include a rubber coupling or replacing the return pipe with a replacement part from Red Sea - Kev has provided me with the part number, RRP £16
I may also have thrown away the small ATO tank. I think it's fairly useless and I was planning on using an external reservoir and a Tunze Osmolator. If I find it this evening, I'll update this post.
I've also screwed a door stop to the bottom - I can leave or remove depending on your preference.
Glass is immaculate aside from slight marks on the bottom caused by live rock. These will not be seen once sand etc is in.
Real reef rock is not included
