  Box Welded Liners-MANY SHAPES AND SIZES AVAILABLE

Description: WELCOME to Boxweld. Here we only supply a product that we truly believe in, that comes in the form of Greenseal EPDM.

Boxweld UK are fast becoming a leading supplier for box-welded liners, putting crease free pond linings within the budget of everyone. The Liners are made for us by one of the countries leading importers and manufacturers of EPDM Greenseal rubber.

Although we quote 5 days for delivery, most of our liners reach our customers in 3-4 days from clear funds.
You may prefer to go elsewhere for your box welded liner, but can you be assured of the quality that we guarantee?

What is a Greenseal EPDM box welded liner?

Our Box welded greenseal rubber pond liners are tailor made liners that are made to the exact size and shape of your pond. This box welded pond liner simply fits snugly* into the shape of your pond with an overlaying lip of liner around the top which you can secure by laying flags or stones or indeed any material of your choosing around the flange. When installed there are no creases or folds in the liner that you would find with a flat, flexible pond liner, thereby eliminating dead spots and "hidey holes" for bacteria to form. Also it makes cleaning the pond and the installation of bottom drains and returns far easier than a conventional flat liner and looks a lot better once in place and full of water.
We can manufacture ANY size of box welded liner and to many shapes.

EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer) is a rubber liner possessing unique properties that have been proven over many years. The unique molecular structure of EPDM means ageing or changes in characteristics is negligible despite decades of exposure to the environment, UV radiation and ozone. Vulcanisation during the manufacturing process means that the material differs from thermoplastic membranes in that its properties are not affected by major temperature fluctuations.

The liners remain highly flexible even at very low temperatures (down to -40°C) enabling year round installation in a variety of climates and terrain allowing it to provide close contact with a number of surfaces such as brick, block, render and of course soil.

If smooth render is used then the finish to the liner will look a lot better.

Some liner manufacturers state that the liner needs to be left in the sun prior to installation to make them supple, not so with Greenseal! Just put them in place and add water.

Greenseal Swedish Rubber is a top quality material from Sweden, which is where Trelleborg Butyl Rubber is from. Greenseal EPDM is a far superior product to Butyl Rubber and cheaper - Butyl contains 28% natural rubber content whereas Greenseal is 100% man made!

These liners also have a high resistance to chemicals, therefore ensuring that any chemicals that may be present in the ground, such as fertiliser and weedkiller cannot penetrate the membrane.

The membrane is also puncture resistant up to the maximum tensile strength and in the unlikely event that a puncture does occur it is very easily repaired.

* Greater acceptance to weather extremes
* ALL JOINTS ARE FULLY VULCANISED TO PREVENT LEAKING
* Many other uses, so not limited to just ponds and water features. If its liquid* then our liners can contain it
* Not affected by high or low temperatures. At -40 thermoplastics will be stiff and brittle and will break, at the other end of the scale, +150 thermoplastics will melt whereas EPDM is unaffected
* Colour of material - Black only
* Will mould itself to the ground contours
* Does not shrink, or become brittle even with age
* Has a much greater Tear strength and tensile strength than Butyl
* Exceeds Butyl Rubber in over 60% of physical properties tested
* Environmentally friendly
* Material can be strained in all directions at the same time without losing integrity
* - Lower environmental impact
* -Damage is easily repairable, even after long service life and in exposed locations
