Wakin Chinese - Fancy Goldfish
One of several goldfish types without a dorsal fin. The Wakin goldfish is a very beautiful fish. has a slender body, somewhat similar to a Comets Goldfish, but with a differently shaped tail. The Wakin Goldfish has a more fantail shaped caudal fin, but the fin is not very long. Every Wakin will display an individual colour pattern and the fish usually looks most striking when watched from above.
Red/White Ryukin Chinese Fancy Goldfish
Excellent coldwater fish that look lovely in aquariums. The Ryukin is a great community fish for the coldwater aquarium and is very sociable when kept with similar tankmates.
Pearlscale Chinese Fancy Goldfish
The characteristic feature of the Pearlscale is its thick, domed scales with pearl-like appearance. the body is round and similar to a golf ball. These fancies look great in aquariums, and also a nice addition to outdoor ponds in the summer months. Excellent blue tones in some fish.
Redcap Lionhead Chinese - Fancy Goldfish
One of several goldfish types without a dorsal fin. The Lionhead is sometimes mixed up with the Ranchu. As they grow, Lionheads develop an impressive head. If you provide your Lionhead with enough space and good care it will reach its full potential and grow into a very impressive Goldfish. These red cap lionheads are very high quality, and when looking straight at you in the aquarium have a 'puppy dog' cute face.
Bubble Eye Chinese Fancy Goldfish
SHOW QUALITY CHINESE FANCY GOLDFISH. The Bubble Eye is a small variety of fancy goldfish with upward pointing eyes that are accompanied by two large fluid-filled sacs. The bubbles are fragile, although the bubbles will regrow if punctured. Given proper accomodation, the bubbles do not disadvantage the fish and they do become very tame.
Tri Coloured Panda Oranda Chinese fancy Goldfish.
These fancies look great in aquariums, and also a nice addition to outdoor ponds in the summer months. Kept in unheated water since being quaranteened. Excellent coldwater fish that look lovely in aquariums. The Oranda is generally quite hardy.
Red Cap Oranda Chinese Fancy Goldfish
Kept in unheated water. Excellent coldwater fish that look lovely in aquariums. The Red Cap Oranda is a great community fish for the coldwater aquarium. The red cap contrasts beautifully with the white body and is always a talking point, especially with children. The red cap orandas can grow into a nice sized fish with fresh water, good nutrition and plenty of room.
Ranchu Chinese fancy goldfish
The favourite fancy goldfish for many hobbyists. One of several goldfish types without a dorsal fin, Ranchu are solid bodied fish with a broad head. As they grow, Ranchu develop an impressive head growth.
Note: The difference between lionheads and ranchu are (a) lionheads have a straighter back and fuller headgrowth encompassing the head (b) ranchu have a curved back and headgrowth emphasized on the top head area.
Lionhead Chinese Fancy Goldfish
The Lionhead is sometimes mixed up with the Ranchu. As they grow, Lionheads develop an impressive head. If you provide your Lionhead with enough space and good care it will reach its full potential and grow into a very impressive Goldfish. They are well suited to unheated aquariums and bowls, and will also thrive in a pond, but you might have to keep him indoors during the coldest winter months if you live in a very cold area.
Calico Oranda Chinese Fancy Goldfish
Excellent coldwater fish that look lovely in aquariums. These are stunning fancy goldfish. Calicos have a great range of bright and pastel colours, including reds, beautiful blues, orange, white, black, etc. They are full bodied fish that develop head growths like the ranchu and lionheads. They have dorsals and can grow into very large fish. Some really nice colours.
