This is a Jewel 125 Aquarium, which has been converted to support marine fish (salt water).
The kit includes the tank, stand, live rock (approx 20kg), internal and external filters and a protein skimmer. The tank has been running for 3 years, so is well matured.
Having spent a year on this tank, we found that we loved it so much that we bought another one, but unfortunately now havent got the time to run both tanks. It is an ideal size for a living room, and is a fascinating addition to someones life.
The commitment of having a marine fish tank is not one to be entered into lightly, the water will need partially changing once a fortnight as a minimum in order to keep the tank healthy. Water can be obtained from marine stockists, please check your local area for stockists.
THIS ITEM IS AVAILABLE FOR COLLECTION ONLY - We can help with dismantling the tank at our house and showing you how to re-set it up, but this will need to be moved within a four to six hour window, in order to keep the water temperature and live rock safe. We can also offer advice on how to run the tank. You will need to provide you own removal equipment - e.g. buckets for the water and polystyrene containers for the rock.
This is a bargain buy, the tank and all the equipment would be worth about £600 - 700, we just want this to go to a good home!
