...because I simply no longer have the time to give a marine aquarium the love/attention it needs to flourish.
Tank is well matured, approx 3yrs old. Oldest fish is the Neon Damsel at approx 2yrs 8 months. Tank & equipment also available: square DT (76cmx76cmx73cm inc pelmet), Sump, new Return Pump, 1 wave maker, 2 steady flow pumps, re-enforced cabinet, led lights x2 (rectangle), strong led spotlight bulbs x2, EHEIM UV steriliser, 4 stage RO unit.
- Price TBC, discount given on purchase of remaining residents/rock...message for interest.
Inverts available include:
3x Red Reef Hermit Crabs (all have changed shells a few times), 4x turbo snails, 2-3 sand sifting Nassarius Snails (might be more but hard to tell!).
£10 for all the inverts...assuming I can dig them out.
30 or so Green/blue Bubble-tip anemones (the shrimp i used to have kept stepping in them, and inducing Mitosis, needless to say it went back). Anemones are mainly on the large central plate rock, so most won't be available until after the fish have gone, but one or two can be taken beforehand. (Potentially reserved, but a few still available)
Coral available: 1x healthy blue/green Frogspawn, seems to be continually growing - colours really pop in good light. [Now Sold]
Fish available include:
1x Neon Damselfish (electric blue body with bright yellow underside) - eats frozen, flake or pellet. £10
1x Purple-stripe/orange FireFish - prefers pellet or frozen but will eat flake. £10
1x True Perc. Clown - eats frozen, flake or pellet. £5
1x Rough FileFish (Aiptasia Eating FileFish) - eats frozen, flake or pellet. £10
1x Convict Blenny - eats frozen, flake or pellet. Has a bump/lump on the neck area, but has had it for its duration in my tank (approx 11 months) & doesn't seem bothered. £10
2x juvenile Blue/Green Chromis - have also been trained to eat frozen, flake or pellet. £5 for both
1x Blue Stripe Pipefish - very confident & easy to care for, trained to come to glass (expects food), beautiful colours. Prefers (frozen) Brine Shrimp but will take Copes, Cyclops, & red plankton. £20 [Now Sold]
All fish eating well & seem healthy. All are easy to care for in my experience, and get on well together with the exception of the Damsel vs Chromis, but with a large enough tank (or only buying one or the other) it should be fine.
Algae available: Caulerpa from the sump...needs trimming every few weeks, but is an exceptional detritus remover. £10 for the lot (but only after all fish have gone)
Approx 45k of live rock, 1 large plate (with anemones) & various lighter structures: £35 for the lot (NB. only after all fish have gone)
