For Sale is my Juwel Rio 240 litre Marine Aquarium and stand bought new would cost around £350, the tank is in great condition with only one mark on the front of the tank but is hardly noticeable, I have also made a small modification to the back of the tank to hang the skimmer.

This set up has been running as it is for 3 years and came from a smaller Tank that had been running for around 12mnths. All of the Live Rock is Included and has been in the tank for 3 years so is well packed with life, to be honest I’m not sure on the weight but the cost is in the region of £250-300+. The Tank is Filtered by 2 Eheim 2224 external filters that circulate at 500 l/h, and the Juwel Internal filter unit that circulates at around 400 l/h that has had the Carbon and Nitrate sponges replaced regularly.
There are 2 Aqua Clear Power heads 1x 1200 l/h, 1x600 l/h I also have some spare heads that will be included. Lighting is taken care of by a 4ft Arcadia T5 with 2x 14’000k Marine Whites and 2x Marine Actinic bulbs + Timers (included), the whites were replaced a month ago, 1 of the blues was replaced on the 5th Feb and the other replaced on the 12th Feb. Skimming is done by a Red Sea Prizm Skimmer, Heating is done by a single 400w Heater that maintains a steady temp of 78-79deg.
There is great propagation of Green Xenia as shown, the Large Leather in the front I have had for 3 years and has grown on tremendously, there are a couple of finger corals and another small leather at the rear, 5 Green Chromis, 1 Blue Damsel that has no tail and hasn’t had for over a year (no idea!!), 1 Lemon Peel Angel (Great fish), 1 regal Tang (Stunning Fish) I’ve had for 4 years, 1 Green/Purple Mandarin, 2 Cleaner shrimps and a couple of turbo snails. I have 3 25ltr Water containers that will be included to transport some of the water, along with a small amount of salt, 2 nets, a brand new Bottle of Calcium Supplement and test kits.
Due to Work commitments I can no longer give the tank the attention it needs and rather than see it deteriorate into an unholy mess I would rather it went to someone who will be able to maintain it. I have some Polly/Plastic boxes and bags that will be included for transportation but you may need more for the water.
Due to the Nature of the Tank it is COLLECTION ONLY, I have no problem holding stuff for the winning buyer if it is not possible to transport it all in one day, and am more than willing to assist in the dismantling/Moving the Tank.
This is over £1300 worth of Kit and Livestock and has been running for 3 years so is properly Mature with good quality Cured Live Rock and 3 well established Filters
I am Open to Sensible offers around £600 for everything.
