Description:
Axolotl ( Mexican walking fish)
Leucistic which are white with black eyes and pink gills
Wild type which are natural earthy tones in shades of
green grey black and brown.
I have a number of each kind between 7”and 9” long
(18 to 23cm) approx. 11 month old
These creatures can grow up to 12” long , and live between 10 to 15 years.
Axolotl’s live in similar conditions to Goldfish as their water requirements are very much the same, DE chlorinated tap water kept around
room temperature.
They eat a wide variety of food, I feed mine on earth worms, pellets
occasional Defrosted frozen shrimps .
They are very hardy and easy to keep.
You will need at least a 2 foot tank with filtration and somewhere for them to hide .
Please research there's amazing creatures for their care and wellbeing before purchasing. Please be aware that these are aquatic creature and not lizards and therefore live completely under water.
