This setup is worth over £1.5k new, and even though it's still in brilliant condition, the asking price is now £180, as my baby son has arrived, and I don't have time for the hobby any longer. For that price, you could pay a courier to carry anywhere in the UK, with transport insurance, & still get fantastic value for money!
The aquarium is 10mm thick glass (the sump slightly thinner but also glass), measuring 76cm by 76cm by 73cm.
The re-enforced cabinet measures 92cm by 84cm by 76cm. With made-to-measure (easy to remove) acrylic evaporation prevention lid, meaning fewer top-ups needed.
The Sump tank is split (by over/underspill) into 3 portions, and measures 76cm by 39cm. With flexible clear plastic covering to further prevent evaporation.
The cycle is linked via the decently-sized Weir at the back, which feeds via both main & spill-back up pipes into the sump, and returns up the back & into the main tank. Pipework included in the price, as are two 300w heaters.
The main tank has been drained & wiped out (ready to go) - the Sump tank will retain some salt water + miracle mud + some cycling live rock + some caulerpa, in case you wish to have a head-start with your own marine aquarium (you'll need to bring a bucket or two for the mud/rock/algae). If you'd prefer it emptied before collection & don't want the rock or mud, I can do that with a day's notice. This is a fantastic opportunity to have your own natural setup (marine or freshwater), or even combine both methods & add in either a mechanical filter or Protein Skimmer.
